Out and about in Paris...

Through the eyes of words of writer Michael Smith's 'Paris Postcards'. Since his first visit at 13 Michael's passion for the city of Paris has endured. Below are six 'Postcards' of some of his favourite parts of this fascinating  city.

His first short film takes us to 'Canal St Martin' his favourite part of Paris.

In this clip he drinks and people watches in some of his favourite 'haunts' in the city.

Paris is a city you can 'walk' but they also offer you the opportunity to hire their 'Velo' bicycles to help you discover the city's delights.

Here Michael visits Little Tokyo as well as Barbes and Rue des Rosiers, areas where even the French language can be difficult to be found spoken.

This clip features Michael's favourite neighbourhood 'Belleville&'; where he discovers 'Rue Denoyez' a street full of artists.

Lastly Michael visits what he describes as the 'real' Paris, the local market at Marché des Enfants Rouge (Market of the Red Children), which is the oldest food market in Paris.
