The RER is selected by many as the most reliable way to travel to and from Orly airport and Paris, providing a regular service into centre of the city. Depending on your final destination the less popular, though cheaper, route is to use the shuttle bus service to the RER C station at 'Pont de Rungis'.
You can pick up the ADP “Paris par le train” shuttle bus at Orly’s South terminal, entrance F and at Orly’s West terminal, entrance G on the arrivals level. Buy your ticket (€ 2.50) on board, .
The journey is 10/15minutes and the bus drops you off opposite the 'Pont de Rungis - Aeroport d’Orly' RER station. You can buy your RER ticket (€ 3.90) here or combined ticket at the airport.
You walk across to the small station platform.
From here take RER trains with Pontoise, Versailles, or Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines as final destination.
These line trains make several stops in central Paris, including Gare d’Austerlitz , Saint-Michel-Notre-Dame , Invalides and finally Champ de Mars - Tour Eiffel where you can change on to the metro system.
The first RER C trains from here is at 5.00am and the last train leaves at 11.30pm
