I LOVE YOU WALL
Ah, Le mur des je t’aime — such a sweet little corner of Paris! It’s one of those places that feels like it was made for people to stumble upon and just feel something. Tucked into Square Jehan Rictus near the Abbesses metro station, it's small and unassuming from the outside but once you're in front of it, there's this quiet magic to seeing "I love you" written in over 250 languages.
The design, a deep blue tile backdrop with red splashes representing broken hearts being pieced back together, to some may just feel magical.
It’s a surprisingly peaceful spot considering how many people visit for that 'photo moment'.
It was created by Frédéric Baron and artist Claire Kito back in 2000 and is made up of over 600 enamelled lava tiles featuring the phrase “I love you” written over 300 times. The wall is illuminated at night, offering a different ambiance that's both romantic and serene. Romantic Spots Nearby
