PARIS FROM DENFERT ROCHEREAU BY RER TRAINSo you have successfully arrived at Denfert Rochereau, now here's how to ride the RER into central Paris...
The station is on the RER B line
You can buy your ticket from the ticket office or from the ticket machines on the left as you enter the station if you have not pre-purchased it.
You are taking RER line B in the direction of 'Mitry-Claye' marked B5, or' Aéroport Charles de Gaulle' marked B3 to get closer to your destination within the city.
The line has hubs at St.Michel, Chatelet-Les Halles and Gare du Nord if you want to change on to the metro system further into the city and your ultimate destination.
You enter the RER station via the gates marked for 'Aeroport Charles de Gaulle' and 'Mitry Claye'.As you can see there is 'push through' access hatch for larger luggage on the right and if you have something larger such as a push chair or wheelchair special access can be gained at the right of the entrance to trains in the other direction - but don't worry you will still get to the correct train. This is also the entrance to the metro system.
Remember to keep hold of your ticket as, unlike the metro, you'll need it to exit at your arrival station.
