Paris is very well served by trains from the whole of mainland Europe and the UK. The city does not have a designated main railway station but is served by no fewer than six main stations, each serving a different direction bringing passengers to and from every corner of the continent to Paris.
its seventh station, its newest, built in the 1970's is Gare de Bercy which offers a national 'Motorail' service and since 2012 is the central hub for an international coach service 'iDBUS'.
Its flagship airport Roissy Charles de Gaulle (CDG) has two stations, one for RER suburban trains into the city plus the TGV station for further afield.
Denfert-Rochereau is the station where the 'Orlybus' drops of passengers from the airport where they can catch the RER suburban train into central Paris.
