ABOUT GETTING TO PARIS
|
As one of the world's most popular destinations,as you can imagine, it is very easy to reach the city of Paris in France. If you are flying to Paris you will arrive at one of the three airports serving the capital. Both Paris Charles de Gaulle and Orly Airport handle international and European domestic flights with the smaller Beauvais Airport (actually 88 km northwest of the city) offering flights from 'Low budget' carriers from European destinations.
If you are getting to Paris by train, depending on where your departure is, you will arrive at one of the six mainline Paris city stations serving the city. From London you will arrive at Paris Gare de Nord station. If you are getting to Paris by car then you must have your reasons as it would not be our first choice! If you are coming from the UK then you will have to avail yourself to one of the many ferry operators offering the crossing to France or use the Channel Tunnel. Here is a link to the Eurotunnel website. We show some route options, including from the airports, into the city but the internet and GPS systems should make it relatively painless. |
