The fastest and cheapest route to the CDG airport is by RER train but the disadvantage is you will first have to make your way from your hotel to a train or Metro station before heading out to the airport. If you are travelling light, reasonably fit and want the experience then it is a good choice.
The Roissy bus is a good option if your hotel is in or near the 'Opera' district of the city as this where you disembark. Taxis are the first choice, though an expensive one, of many travellers, as you are taken directly from your hotel to CDG airport. The only bus service operating at night is the Noctilien, which links various destinations in Paris with Charles de Gaulle airport between 00.30am and 5.30am. It drops off passengers at entrance 26 of terminal 1, entrance 2 of terminal 2F and Roissypôle bus station every hour. Fares depend on distance travelled, but can range between €1.50 and €7.50.
