BY ROISSY BUS TO PARIS FROM CDG

Roissybus is a coach service offered by the regional public transportation authority of Paris, RATP  (Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens) connecting Charles de Gaulle airport with the Opéra district of the city.

To get the bus from the airport follow the overhead signs to find your nearest bus stop. The Roissybus to 'Opera' departs every 15 minutes from Terminals 1 and 2. Just follow the signs and hop on, you can pay the driver on the coach.

If you're the only person waiting at the stop you may need to flag the bus down as it circles the Terminal.

 €13.70 (Forfait Navigo zones 1-5 accepted)
Where to buy tickets ?   From automatic vending machines in RER and metro stations, as well as onboard from drivers.

Frequency from Charles de Gaulle to Paris (Opéra) :

• 6:00 am to 12:00 am, evry 15to 20 minutes
• 8:00 pm to 10:00 pm, every 20 minutes
• 10:00 pm to 00:30 am, every 30 minutes


Allow up to 1 hour + for journey as it is traffic dependent.

Terminal 1: Entrance 30, at arrivals level 5
Terminal 2:                                                               
2A-2C : Gate/door 9
2D-2B : Gate/door 11
2E-2F : Use the pickup near door 5 in La galerie, connecting the two terminals

2G: terminal is linked to Terminal 2C (Gate 4) by the free N2 shuttle bus.
The N2 shuttle bus runs from 05:30 to 23:00 (approx.every 6 minutes).
Average journey time: 15 minutes.

Terminal 3:  At Roissypole bus station 
The pros and cons:
The pros:

  • Comfortable and stress-free.
  • Direct non-stop from centre of Paris to Charles de Gaulle airport (CDG).
  • Ideal if your final destination is within the 'Opera' district of the city.
  • Drops you off near metro station ('Opera') for onward journey.

  • You may be affected by local traffic conditions.
  • You may not to be seated with your travel companions.
  • You have to handle your own luggage.
  • Only one stop within the city.

The Roissybus  drops you off in front of the American Express office at the corner of Rue Scribe and Rue Auber which is behind the Garnier Opera House (Place de l’Opera). - diagonally opposite the 'Opera' metro station.

When you arrive in Paris you have plenty of options for onward travel to your ultimate destination from the Place de l’Opera , you can either walk, take a taxi, bus or ride the metro depending on where you are staying within Paris.
