beauvais airport to DISNEYLAND® PARISParis Beauvais airport, is actually quite a distance (88km) north of the city. It is a small regional airport used by some low-cost carriers such as Ryanair and WizzAir. If it is chosen as your entry point to France you do not have a great deal of options for getting from the airport to the Disneyland® Paris resort. The once popular 'Magic Shuttle Coach' no longer operates from the airport.
Cheapest route Shuttle/metro/trainHere is the cheapest (but the longest), way of getting to Disneyland® Paris using the Beauvais Airport shuttle and Paris Metro/RER train.
First step is to take the Beauvais Airport Shuttle coach into Porte Maillot in the city, see more information on this here. On arrival at Paris Porte Maillot bus station you need to walk to the Metro station in front of the Palais des Congrès for which there are a number of access points. From here take Metro Line 1 Direction La Défense/Chateau Vincennes to Charles de Gaulle Etoile Station (two stops). Journey time is 5 minutes.
Once at Charles de Gaulle Etoile Station,follow the sign RER A Line to
'St Germain en Laye, Poissy, Cergy, Boissy St Leger, Marne la Vallée/Disney' trains run every 2 minutes. You will exit at the station 'Marne-la-Vallee / Chessy, Paris Disneyland' which is on the plaza between the Disneyland® Hotel, the Walt Disney Studios and the Disney Village.
By taxi or private shuttle.If your budget allows you may wish to use the services of the taxi or private shuttle company to give you the convenience of a door to door service. If there is a number of you in your party this can actually work out to be a competitive option . This may also be necessary if you have an early/late departures/arrivals.
Your journey time should be around 1hr 30 minutes. Traffic conditions can affect both the journey time and the cost. Expect to pay around €150. driving to Disneyland parisIf you are picking up a hire car at the airport as part of your holiday you should consider Hertz Car Rental the official partner of Disneyland Resort Paris. Hertz have a rental office at Paris Beauvais airport.
Your journey time should be around 1 hr 30 minutes using the shortest route. Directions for shortest route timewise: From the airport, join the A16 motorway, follow signs A16 ‘Cergy-pontoise, Amiens, Paris, Compiegne’ and continue on for 48 km, then take right hand lanes marked for ‘Airport Charles de gaulle-Paris Porte de la Chapelle’. Merge onto the D301 and follow the signs for ‘Cergy-pointoise, Aeroport Charles de Gaulle’ then signs ‘Aeroport Charles de Gaulles-Viarmes’. You merge onto D104.Follow the signposted N104 Chantilly, airport Charles de Gaulle, Goussainville, Louvres. Continue on for 14 km. Leave the D104 at junction 98 ( SORTIE 98 Senlis-Louvres-Gonesse).On the roundabout, take the second exit for Sarcelles-Goussainville-Gonesse-Roissy en France. You merge onto D317. Continue for 7 km. Merge onto D 370. On the roundabout, take the first exit for A 104 Charles de Gaulle- Bobigny-Paris-Senlis. Merge onto D170. Continue on for 2 Km. When you approach Aulnay-sous-bois, follow the signs for A104 Lyon-Meaux-Chelles-Marne la valle-Mitry Mory-Villeparisis. Continue on for 28 km. Near Lagny sur Marne, take right lanes marked for A4 Metz-nancy-Reims-Marne la Vallee-Val d’Europe. You merge onto A4. Continue on for 12 km. Leave the A4 at junction 14 (Sortie 14 Parcs Disney-Bailly Romainvilliers). Continue on for 2 km on Avenue Paul Seramy. Then merge right (Parc Disneyland-Parc Walt Disney® studio). Continue on 2 km before arriving at Disneyland® Paris. Although above is the shortest route timewise you have a couple of other options (see here on ViaMichelin) and for many route 2 is the preferred one as it means avoiding Paris and is suburbs completely. Expect to pay €10/15 in toll fees for the privilege of using the French roads. For your satellite navigation device you may need the following details to find Disneyland® Paris - Street: Boulevard du Parc.Town: Serris/Coupvray. Department: 77700. Or simply try 'Disneyland Paris' By trainParis Beauvais Airport does not have a train station, the nearest is 4km away in the town of Beauvais itself. You can pick up a taxi at the airport to the station for around 12 euros – you will pay more, around 16 euros, after 7.00pm on Sundays and public holidays. There is also a shuttle bus between the airport and the train station at € 4, tickets can be bought on the coach. Journey time is around 30 to 45minutes . The trains to Paris take you into Gare de Nord in around an hour. Tickets can be bought at the station ticket window or from the automated ticket vending machines, which take coins or smart- chip credit cards. Expect to pay around 15 euros. You can also buy tickets over the internet. The tickets are posted to your home or can be collected at the train station.
On arriving at' Gare du Nord' station you need to make your way to either the RER line B in the direction of 'Robinson' / St, Remy les Chevreuse or the line D to 'Melun / Malesherbes. Both lines will take you to Chatelet Les-Halles station (next stop) where you can catch the RER line A4 to Marne-la-Vallee (Disneyland® Paris) - sometimes abbreviated to to 'MLV Chessy' on some display screens. |
